Never did I imagine I would be so buzzing after reading a book!
Well at the ripe old age of 29, I’ve only gone and done it! I’ve joined a book club! And I friggin love it!
It’s not just about the books and the reading! It’s about the meeting up with a few girlies and getting a chatter and a fun night out of the house!
Our first book club was held at Julie’s house! And boy was she the hostess with the mostest! On arrival we were all gifted with the cutest little hand made bookmarks by Claire!
Julie had put on a fine spread for us all! She had nibbles, Christ’s and dips and a lovely sparkling prosecco with little strawberries in them (very instagramable).., then she brought out the coffee and cakes! And i'm just obsessed with this little bookmark made by Claire! its sooo cute and such a thoughtfull little gift!
So basically we all have read the book and meet up to discuss. And as you would expect a room of 6 girlies we off course get a little off track! But we did definitely
discuss the book!! It’s quite interesting to see everybody’s views of the book.
Our next book is Eleanor Oliphant is completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
