Northern Ireland Hair & Beauty Awards (part 2)

We arrived at the Crowne Plaza, after taking about 400 selfies in the taxi on the way there, One thing I always love about going to an event like this is the style. and boy was there some style on display there. And some not so much. but we will not talk about that. 

As we entered the room full of glamour to find our table, the heat hit us, we found our table and headed straight to the bar for something cool and refreshing. we done a little mingling and were soon enough called to our seats.

This year they called some awards before dinner and some after. My award category was the third announced. Stylist of the  Year! so as I was trying to practice my 'I'm so pleased for the winner' look, Pamela mentioned something about being 'high maintenance, Natalie and I give each other a look that basically meant naaw it cant be! and then she called out my name!!! wow!!! I cant exactly remember what happened after that but I believe I squealed and jumped up! and next thing I remember I was on stage accepting my award, trying my hardest not to be sick in front of everyone, curse or cry!

woo hoo.... I only gone and won didn't I?? I could not believe it, I still don't think its sunken in yet. I won Northern Ireland stylist of the year 2018... next thing we headed to the media room for some photos and that was a blast. from the excitement and hugs from Roisin Doherty who came up to congratulate me,, I thought we were both going to end up on the floor and I was going to break my award! then came the search for my phone! I had handed to someone to take photos and they ran off with it by accident.

after a while, mobile phone found, the good news text to my hubby and the parentals! Back to our table just in time for the starter. now I can't even tell you what the food was like because I was far too excited to eat. but I'm pretty sure I scoffed most of it!

the second round of awards High Maintenance was up for Team of The Year... unfortunately we weren't successful this time. But big congratulations to Beauty Express from Coleraine who won.

after the awards we hung about chatting to the girlies at our table until we were booted out so went to the after party downstairs and celebrated until our feet hurt and we headed back to our apartment for the night.

I'm still on a high from this night and I truly an so grateful to each and ever one of you guys that took the time to nominate me!...... until next year!!
